Intermediate Program in Baking Science and Pastry Arts (affiliated with City & Guilds, London) is our extensive 960-hour course across five and a half months. A combination of practical and theoretical learning, tailor-made to equip students with the knowledge and experience required in the vast, competitive culinary industry. This comprehensive course is also certified by Lavonne Academy’s Assured Status, which grants industry-recognised certification through City & Guilds (London).
Theory lessons at Lavonne are intensive and form an integral part of our diploma programme. Students take a formal examination after every module, as well as complete internal assessment projects regularly.
At Lavonne, learning is but a means to a significant end. Regular assessments take place in the form of projects, record book journaling, and assignments, scrutinised and graded by our in-house chef-instructors.
The Lavonne Student Café is the first-of-its-kind student-run set-up in the country. Managed entirely by our diploma students, the aim of this appendage to our already intricate syllabus, is that our students leave the portals of Lavonne, fully equipped to take on the world of entrepreneurship in the fields of bakery and confectionery.
While we equip our students to be able to take on roles in 5 star pastry kitchens or set up their own proprietorships, given our niche in the industry, students are assisted in securing internships and placements on completion of their diploma program.
Being India’s first exclusive international baking academy, Lavonne is affiliated to the City & Guilds, London. All graduating students of the Diploma program receive two certificates, one from Lavonne and the other from City & Guilds, London that is recognised across the world.
