In the year 2016, the Lavonne Alumni Association was officially formed with the aim of reuniting our former students, inviting them to revisit their alma mater, and encouraging them to network with their fellow Lavonnettes as a means of fuelling their own professional growth in this competitive industry they are part of. Graduates of our 6 Week Certificate course as well as of the Diplome in Patisserie program are inducted into the Association upon their convocation. Meetings are held annually and usually in Bangalore. Lavonne Alumni Association has its own set of elected office bearers from among its members.
A typical alumni event starts with a meet-and-greet session, apart from the badge pinning ceremony for the newly inducted alumni. During the meet, discussions are centred around future plans for the association, collaborations between students, pastry pop-ups around the country by the alumni, potential CSR activities by the alumni. And of course, a meeting without eating would be cheating so all our meets end with a gala dinner.
